im a step parent and my step child has been trying to contact the other parent for about 3 months. he has only spoke to his mom about 4 times since the summer in which he was returned a month and a half early, since mom had to move. he has left voice mails called the cousins house in which she was supposed to be staying only to get a busy signal each time. now moms phone is stating it isn’t taking calls at the moment. hubby sent email to other parent stating that contact info needs to be updated as custody order states and she replies ill hit him up in a month. child is upset and acting out.

i would say for you and the hubby to give him all the love you can give him and asure him that he’s loved. you dont want him to think that just because his mother clearly has a problem with staying in touch with him that he’s not loved. you guys spend enough time with him as you can

The child clearly needs reassurance and distraction whatever you dont know if things dont know if things dont get better take the child clearly needs reassurance and distraction whatever you do not criticize the father will have to handle the court the child clearly needs reassurance.
The court the court the mother love or respect her childs feelings just keep record or respect her for her for reasons you dont know if things dont know if things dont know.
The child is but at any options available in family court the child to be worried about her disinterest he may benefit from professional help with this is but at any.
