can we take this problem to family court? if so what would they do about this situation?

my cousin is 32 yrs old. he is verbally abusive toward everyone in the house and is often violent. while everyone in the house is going to school and work or are working 2 jobs he is the only one who refuses to work. everyday he asks for $20 two or three times a day. not that we mind giving him money but all of this money adds up. if you don’t give him any money he’d start acting up. telling him that he has to leave isn’t enough. the law has to get involved in order for him to leave, but how do we go about this.

The road if he is asking for that kind of money throughout the day would be little concerned about drug use.
